Tuesday.
I survived.
Barely.
There was a lot of hyperventilating, near breakdowns, etc.
My dad extended his stay late Monday night and was really excited to stay a little bit longer.
Then, as it always happens, there was a ton of drama.
He no longer wanted to stay with his brother ((i don’t blame him))
and tried to switch his flight back to what was supposed to be yesterday afternoon.

comcast. round 2.
all last night, our cable wasn’t working. first just HD and HBO wasn’t.
so i did the online chat thing with a comcast rep and they reset the box.
3 times.
each time, they said it would be fixed and all my channels would be working in 20 to 45 minutes.
after the last time at 1 am, i just went to bed in a huffypuffy mood.

today is my first full day back in the city.
i ran 15.5 miles this morning and it was very therapeutic.
the weather was perfect. i love feeling the crip air against my skin when running… so it was a huge improvement from last week’s run which was supposed to be 20 miles but ended up being 7.44.
tonight, we are going on a date to the county fair. :)

World Cup Friday
This morning I woke up at 5 am. Got in a cab at around 5:45 with Mayra & Karen. Arrived at Mercury Lounge by 6:00. There weren’t that many people there to watch the game, so we we were able get some nice seats. We sipped some coffee, mimosas, and eventually ate some chilaquiles.

As some of you might know, I am running the San Francisco Marathon on July 25. This is my first time running 26.2 miles - hell, it is my first time running more than 3 miles.
I just realized I was able to fundraise for a charity and am hoping to raise at least something. Two of my aunts had breast cancer, one of whom passed away. Breast cancer is a disease that we have to find a cure for. So...

Friday: Happy Hour @ Maya
- Wine, beer, and yummy tacos. Seriously. Maya has really good carne asada tacos. but only during happy hour. Not during lunch.
Ran 18 Miles
- I didn’t think I would survive after not having ran for 2 weeks. But I did it slowly and survived. I took my first ice bath since high school and cried like a big baby. My legs are killing me. Boo.
